PeaceJam programming may be adopted as a stand-alone club or folded into an existing after-school, faith-based, or community organization club or program. PeaceJam can also be implemented in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms. Youth
If your school or community already has a club, you should contact your advisor about joining. If you do not have a club in your school or community, persuade the coolest adult you to know to help you start one!
Mentors (age 18-28)
We rely on college-aged mentors to provide the energy and one-on-one interaction with youth attending our fall Slam and spring Youth Conferences. Interested college students and college-aged youth in the Great Lakes region (especially those attending WMU, Kalamazoo College, KVCC and KCC) should contact the Great Lakes PeaceJam affiliate office at (269) 492-7750 or e-mail Kevin Dodd at kdodd@greatlakespeacejam.org.
OR Apply Online!
Volunteers
Local volunteers are always needed to help organize and run events and various community activities related to PeaceJam. We also have a permanent group of volunteers who serve on the Great Lakes PeaceJam Task Force. If you are interested in serving in either capacity, please contact Kevin Dodd, Program Coordinator, at (269) 492-7750 or e-mail at kdodd@greatlakespeacejam.org
Partner Organizations and Financial Supporters
Great Lakes PeaceJam has recently transitioned into becoming a program of its own nonprofit, Seeding Change. As such we are counting more than ever on your support as a financial contributor or partnering organization. If you are interested in becoming a financial supporter or partnering organization, please contact Martha Huckabee, Executive Director, at (269) 492-7750 or e-mail at mhuckabee@greatlakespeacejam.org.
Donate!
Seeding Change has 501(c)3 status, so all donations made to us are tax-deductible. Your financial contribution assures continued PeaceJam programming. We appreciate your support!
